My transformative process
So, I’m in process to change how I look. I got contact lenses again after 12 years. The only thing I didn’t count on was not being able to see up close. So I went and bought the funkiest 1/2 eyes I could get! I got my hair dyed. I wear makeup everyday now. I like the way it looks. I’m beginning to like the way I look.
I will be having surgery in the spring. I’m going to rearrange my innards. I’ve begun picking a sweater to knit that nips in at the waist and covered with cables, in a chunky yarn! Keep posted as I go through my transformation.

I want you teabaggers out there to understand one thing: while you idolize the Founding Fathers and dress up like them, and smell like them, I think it’s pretty clear that the Founding Fathers would have hated your guts. And what’s more, you would’ve hated them. They were everything you despise. They studied science, read Plato, hung out in Paris, and thought the Bible was mostly bullshit.
Keep Your Laws Off My Body
Can someone please, please, please tell those fucking idiots in Washington that as WHITE MEN they don’t have the RIGHT to legislate laws that affect MY BODY! That as MEN they never have to wrestle with the CHOICE of a pregnancy. They don’t even have to stick around OR take responsibility. I want them up the duff, poor, scared and figuring out what they need to do before they legislate my uterus.
I am very lucky. I live in Massachusetts. My Congressional Delegation won’t fall for this shit. I am grateful I have John Kerry as a Senator. Scott Brown is a shit of the highest order. He has stated he supports this legislation. I will actively work to block him for re-election. Because he’s the kind of Senator that will vote for this steamimg pile of shit . I mean legislation.
Snow Snow Go Away
I have 3 feet on snow on my back deck. I have lived through 3 storms in 2 weeks. Each have dumped over 6 inches each. One dropped 18 inches. I can’t take it any more. If I have to live through 1 more snow day from school I’ll put my eye out with my knitting needles. At least today I’m not watching 3 hours of the Naked Brothers Band or endless games on the Wii. Instead we are watching the Wizard of Oz. I can live with that. 2 boys from the neighborhood are shoveling us out. I think it’s worth the $40 don’t you.
